With options leading south to Peregian, west to the hinterland and in all directions around Noosa’s stunning waterways, the only limitation is your energy level!
Keen cyclists may like to experience the bike leg of the famous Noosa Triathlon course: a 40km return ride from Hastings Street to Cooroy. The incredible scenery along the route will certainly reward you for your efforts. Anyone keen for even more of a challenge may like to add either the Pomona or Black Mountain loops (or both)!
The slightly less strenuous 23km return stretch between Noosa and Peregian Beach is popular with locals and visitors, as it meanders along the coastline, offering plenty of beautiful views and fresh ocean breeze along the way.
Those seeking a lower-impact outing may enjoy the 13km return ride from Hastings St to Tewantin, or 12km return ride from Gympie Terrace to Noosa Junction, which boasts plenty of off-road fun! Either way, you can burn up some energy before refuelling your body with lunch or morning tea at one of the many delicious cafes along the river, the beach or Noosa Junction.
Little legs will enjoy the peddle from Hastings Street to the Noosa river mouth, which is mostly off-road, or may be tuckered out with a 3km riverside ride along Gympie Terrace – particularly if combined with a stop at the huge playground along the way!
Mountain biking fans will get their adrenaline pumping in Tewantin National Park’s Wooroi Trails. These trails can be found with a 10-minute drive from central Noosa and offer everything from beginner trails for littlies, to a number of intermediate and experienced tracks.
